Default Next 4 games

Hello all, bit quiet at the moment and as there's over a week till the next game there's plenty of time to specualte the upcoming games.

March

Sat 15 - Home to West Ham

Not a good time to play the hammers. They are in their best form of the season and will now believe they can avoid relegation. But as I'm completely biased I'll still go for a resounding victory for the Blues. Besides, we've stuffed them so many times over the last few years even with a crap team under Smith.

Sun 23 - Away to Arsenal

Ouch. They'll be in full flight and wanting revenge for our home win ealier in the season. Stranger things have happened but I can't see much of a result here. Hopefully live on TV everywhere.

April

Sun 6 - Home to Newcastle

Newcastle are a fine team but their away form is poor. I think we could do this one. At least a draw. Also on TV.

Sat 12 - Away to West Brom

A must win game. Games don't come much easier than this even if it is away. A stumble here will lose us any chance of European qualificaton.

Because we failed in our attempt to win at Boro, we realistically, if we want to keep the pressure of Chelsea that is, need to win 3 of the next 4.

Everton 3 West Ham 1

Arsenal 2 Everton 0

Everton 3 Newcastle 2

West Brom 1 Everton 2

There are my predictions of the next four...if I get them right is anyone willing to give me a prize?

Now if someone could post Chelsea's next 4 fixtures as well we'll be in a good position to speculate how many points they could possibly earn to what we would need to earn.

Ok, so it's not looking good in comparisson.

Here's a list of Chelsea's fixtures minus the Arsenal clash as it isn't a league match.

Chelsea v Man City

Sunderland v Chelsea

Chelsea v Bolton

Villa v Chelsea
----------------------------
and here's the best of the rest...well the rest anyhow

Chelsea v Everton

Chelsea v Fulham

West Ham v Chelsea

Chelsea v Liverpool

And just for reminders here is what we have left excluding the four that were already posted.

4/19.......#6 Liverpool...........(H)
4/21.......#4 Chelsea............(A)
4/26.....#14 Aston Villa........(H)
5/3.......#15 Fulham............(A)
5/11.......#2 Man Utd...........(H)

Now I don't know about you but I think theoretically Chelsea will have an easier time about it than we will.

On the other hand, their terribly inconsistency could kill them allowing us just enough of a gap to break through and take the 4th league position for good.

don't worry about pool, we will beat them at Goodison to show that there is a shift in power this season. Liverpool won't purely be red territory any longer; it may not yet be blues, but somewhere about even.
