List of Jewish Footballers [R]
There are many footballers around the world that are Jewish or have Jewish roots. These players are also eligible for Israeli citizenship and would be possible good editions to the league and/or national team. This thread is meant to track them and their progress. All players that already have received citizenship and left the country should be in the Israelis Abroad thread.

ah yes, sorry should have read the entire openingpost 
But de Ridder only played for the Dutch youth teams, so there still is a chance he could play for the Isreali NT, right?

Walter Samuel of Argentina is jewish, but he and Juan Pablo Sorin are both cap-tied to Argentina and cannot play for Israel. De Ridder can still decide to play for Israel, provided he states his intentions officially before the age of 21and does not recieve a senior international team cap for the Netherlands.

Probably a bit old to to track his progress but George Cohen won the World Cup with England, though he wasn't Jewish he had Jewish roots. Also his nephew, Ben Cohen, won the Rugby World Cup with England.
