You might think this is just me being biased, but that display by Mr Cowburn was, honest to god, the WORST refereeing display I have EVER seen in my life, that includes sunday league. Getting a few decisions wrong is forgivable, but not only was he petty and stupid, he was also arrogant and wanted the game to revolve around himself. Referees should try to be as anonymous as possible IMO and Mr Cowburn should not be allowed to referee again until he can show that his ego will have no part in the game.

Only a few people know what exactly was said between the Hart and Cowburn, and I believe Hart when he says he did not use abusive langauge (naturally). Fortunately, the fine was not a heavy one.

Were you at the Ipswich match mate? The ref was a comedian.
He gives a soft penalty away - wants it retaking until they score it - gets all the fans raging - Scimeca goes off - Forest go from 2-0 down to 3-2 up - maddest half hour of footy ever - that's how good the players had to be.
The reds have gotta go up!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Good point against Wolves as well - Wolves were seriously strong that night!

I was listening to it on Century, couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was such an inspiring win, to win 4-3 against all odds against a very good Ipswich side. Not so good tonight though

it is true the ref was an idiot !!!!!!!!!! even worse than the ref at the watford game earlier in the season.
