Successful comeback???
Has there been a player in history who make a successful come back from retirement? I am thinking of an example simliar to Michael Jordan 1st comeback when he was still the best player in the game. Pele to Cosmos????

Re: Successful comeback???
Well Cruijff said numerous times he wanted to quit. Yet he also came back numerous times.

Re: Successful comeback???
Didn't Cruijff quit completely but was forced to comeback because he lost all his money with an investment in some kind of pig farm?

Re: Successful comeback???
In a way Giuseppe Signori. He was retired for a year and this season is leading the line at Sopron in the Hungarian First Division.

Re: Successful comeback???
You could make a very long list if you considered people retiring and unretiring from their national squads.
