Default Week 14 matches

last league matches of the season. any people gunning for promotion or to avoid relegation or a playoff? I've got 2nd place clinched and am playing away to the 3rd place team.

End of Over 3: 8-1, runrate=2.67
Rose 2-0-6-1
Bullivant* 1 (7 balls)
Nosworthy 6 (9 balls)

they won the toss and decided to bat on a flat pitch, but it is humid and cloudy so it's not 100% batsmen friendly.

I'm locked into 5th. At risk of scotching my morale for the qualifier, I'm playing this one (somewhat) easy, TIE with Seargeant out of the lineup. Posted a low total, so the bowlers are going to have some work to do to defend it -- which usually means I'm doomed .

Playing for the league championship and promotion to the Windies Premier. Los Burritos v Carib Beer XI (209333).

Batted first and put up a solid 284. Bowling now: End of Over 20: 105-0, runrate=5.25, reqrunrate=6.00 (284-8). Wick 5-1-12-0
Beadle* 37 (62 balls)
Eyre 63 (59 balls)

I'm playing several bowlers defensively (not Wick though) so the runrate is ok but I'd really like to get Eyre out.

21.3 W Albrighton to Eyre
Out!!! Eyre was struck right in front of all three. If he was fixing a leaky pipe he couldn't have been plumber!
Just as I was hitting submit reply...

Quote:
22.6 . Lawrence to Devonish
Bit of lift, on the front foot, defends to the off side.
22.5 . Lawrence to Devonish
Slower ball, Devonish defends to the off side.
22.4 . Lawrence to Devonish
Beautiful backlift... fantastic follow through... brilliant balance...If only he'd hit the ball.
22.3 W Lawrence to Beadle
Yorked him! Aimed right at his toes and middle stump lies flat as Beadle starts the long walk back.
22.2 . Lawrence to Beadle
Good fullish ball angling away outside off stump, jumps well forward, shoulders arms through to Spillane.
22.1 . Lawrence to Beadle
EDGED! Falls just short of slip. Beadle showed nice soft hands to make sure that that didn't carry.
Couldn't have planned that over any better. And Lawrence is my worst bowler.
