The US lucked out and despite the butt kicking in Germany, they moved up to place number 4 since Argentina lost against Croatia and therefore got knocked down a few ranks.
By the time the WC starts, the US will be ranked 1rst and Brazil 10th.

What does it all mean: If anything at all, it means that the FIFA ranking is absolutely worthless !!! But what else is new....

Not only worthless, but comical. The USA 4th. Why don't these guys who make up this thing-go to Vegas & get the odds? They'd see the real ratings.

Oh come guys, does anyone else take these rankings serious...well maybe some die hard USA fans but the majority know that these rankings are rubbish.

Keep in mind that in the last 2 years, USA and Mexico have had 18 WC qualifiers. Germany has had ZERO! It's a serious flaw in the formula, but they had to pick something!
