Default Virtual Mags

Tell us about your Fifa/Football Manager/ Whatever you play Newcastle team.

I play Fifa and began Manager Mode as Newcastle skipper. Mind you I only play the big games and visual sim the rest. Visual sim is where I get to watch like a gametracker and I can jump in if the Mags need help.

1st year: We played well and got to 4th position in the league with 73 points in the table. We finished with a record of 21 wins 7 losses and 10 draws.

Trophies won: League cup which I believe is the game's equivalent of the Carling Cup. (Could be wrong.)

2nd year: Shearer retired in the off-season and I brought in Carlos Reina from Spain to replace him. He opened the season with a 2 goal showing and the Mags beat Boro 3-0. Finished with 92 points and 1st in the table. with a 29-4-5 record.

Trophies won: Premier League trophy, ECC (Equivalent of the CL).

3rd year: Won the league again. 80 points. 24-6-8 record.

Trophies won: League Cup (Beat Spurs 5-0 in the final ), Community Shield, Premier League Trophy, ECC (Beat Barca on PK's), European Super Cup (No idea what this is equivalent too. Beat Rosenborg 4-1.)

4th year: (Present) Undefeated in the league with 100 points. 2 games left. 32-0-4 record. Teams that drew us: Liverpool (Twice ), Man U, Spurs.

Highlights of the year so far: Dyer Hat Trick against Sunderland. Beating Sunderland 5-1 and 3-0. Drawing with Barca at St. James' 4-4.

Trophies won: (So Far) Community shield, European Super Cup (Beat Ajax 6-3) Currently in the Semifinals of the ECC. I beat Valencia 4-1 in the 1st leg at St James' and still have the return leg. Play the winner of Stuttgart-AC Milan. And of course the Premier League trophy is mine

Starting Line-up: I have made alot of moves and have Newcastle currently as the strongest team in the whole game.

F! I wish you started this thread in the fall/winter, when I played FIFA 06. I've since switched to Winning Eleven 9, which I don't like as much. I may have to fire up FIFA 06 again and re-learn it.

Then again, the new World Cup game comes out in eight days. I may be all soccered out.

Oh, did you notice they screwed up Milner's age? He's like 10 years older than he's supposed to be.

That's what I thought!

I was like why is he retiring already. Weird.

Also they don't have Adrian Mutu in the game. They have his stats on another player on the Romanian team that does not exist, but you have go in and find him and change his name and add him to the roster.

I can hardly wait for the WC game. Taking the US all the way to the cup will be great, because there is no way in hell it's going to happen in real life.

I also want to go through and take minnows like Moldova and Panama to the Cup. That's what I did once I got bored with winning in Euro 2004. The qualifying campaign is such a cool thing to have.

I wonder if the Dutch team will actually be in the game this time.

Although it was 127 international teams, I doubt Holland will be in there. They're practically never in official games. I hope I'm wrong though.

The blame squarely must be placed on the KNVB. They never give the rights to EA Sports. I know for a fact people that would run out and buy the game just because Holland is in it. It just seems stupid that such a great team like Holland would refuse to be in the game.

Kinda like how you'll never find Barry Bonds in a baseball game.

World Cup game come out Monday, let's hope it's as good if not better than FIFA 06.

I just hope it's like Euro 2004. That game was amazing. Of course, with updated graphics and such.
