That seems realistic. You have 6 Lyon players there and since Domenetch is ex Lyonese I have no doubt he will take as many Lyon players as possible. You have to remember that its not the best possible 23 who are going but the 23 who the manager wants. Giuly deserves to go ahead of guys like Dhorasso and Diarra but they will probably get picked over him for different reasons of course.

yes, i picked the ones who look the most likely to go. but they also represent my opinion that it's too late to do much tinkering.

everyone i picked in the back has had multiple callups and have played some quality matches in blue recently, like the pleasant surprise from silvestre.

ribery may deserve to go more than dhorasoo based on recent form, but it's clear raymond likes vikash; he was a real surprise pick from the start, so his being there doesn't follow conventional logic. micoud over ribery is for maturity, diarra is there instead of giuly because the 7 picked need to be balanced from front to back.

6 forwards may be a lot, and you could even call malouda one, but the three lyonnais here are not pure front men (malouda can even fill in at the back) and versatility is important when you're picking a group that will play lots of matches in a short space of time.
