We all knew that season tickets sales were slim to none amongst the Mexican/Hispanic community during the name controversey but I would have thought that despite them there would still have been more sold.

How has the marketing been for the team in Houston?

Good to see. But this is for 2008, right? or 2007?

Best news we've heard in a while. At least, on regards to how MLS looks on TV.

Since one usually doesn't see the concept of Season Ticket Equivilents mentioned by other sports, it's not surprising that this guy doesn't mention that STE's for Dynamo 36 are reportedly at about 4,000. Makes better copy however when you can report a lower number...

I thought this was one of the better sports headlines I've seen in a long time. Kudos the headline writer at the Globe.

"Sometimes you’ve got to go with what your gut tells you, and my gut said this is a move we needed to make," Schmid said.

In Schmid's case, any time your gut says something, it's huge.

Not a bad move, all told. I think Edson Buddle will be very dangerous with the service he'll get from Red Bull's midfield, and Gaven is nothing but upside.
