    Great Japan
i don't think players really care about winning the game. they only cared about how to survive in the team. just look at tamada's face when sato scored the goal. oh the ref was ********ing horrible i agree

I know, and Tamada shot a couple times when he could have set up a goal. but he did set up a perfect chance for Ono. Tamada is better playing behind the FWs..

    Agree with you on Tamada.
I think he played really good today, and people can't begin talking about Sato being Japans first choice forward for Wc just because he scored a goal today.

Midfield played good also. Overall and good performance by Japan but they should've scored more goals.

great game guys. you deserved the win. i just wish we had more of our top performers, as this was our B-team. the only regular here was Mora, our excellent GK, Espinosa, the big defender, and Edwin Tenorio. But i like what Urrutia has to offer and we need him.

Well I hope this doesn't give Zico the thought that Alex is a great player that deserves to start...because as ecuafutballfreak says it was Ecuador's B team...

    Matsui should start!!!

thats because Zico has no clue what he is doing. its a friendly match where you can make 6 subs, but he didn't make any until subbing the mis-firing FWs at the end.

He did it just so he can give the strikers more time to prove themselves. It was only a friendly, What was he going to do make 6 changes. Then we'd lose the whole balance of the team and it would either be a boring boring match ending 0-0 or we would get beat.
It was a friendly, not the world cup final. And we won, were can you complain.

    ..wow, new colors...confusing.

It's good that we can take on second-tier talent with our J-league based players.

The more matches we can get for them the deeper depth our squad will have.
