The flag is actually the OFFICIAL flag of Northern Ireland. You are mixing it up with a similar flag which represents the "The Red Defenders" a Loyalist terror organisation.

I know who's flag it is, and that's why it sickens me.

That flag coupled with "Ulster defense force" above it repulses me.

The words UDF I agree are wrong and will be removed if he doesn't do it himself. But the flag is the Official Flag that represented a constitutionally elected government. It does not represent any terror organisation. It therefore has no reason to sicken you any more than the stars and stripes. If it does I suggest you need to do a bit more research as you don't know enough about the subject.

The UDF is really stupid to have there but, it is that constitutionally elected government that I don't agree with.

Then thats a completly different argument then. Many do (as I do) agree that Northern Ireland should remain part of the United Kingdom. A majority of it's citizens want this and that is what matters. Not being condesending towards you, but your not living there, you more than likely (tell me if Im wrong) have never been there and you have no connection apart from a catholic background that originally came from Ireland. Im not sure therefore why you feel you should have a say in whether or not the government is correct or not.

Again, I agree - the UDF bit IS a terror organisation and therefore should be taken out. Would you be so against someone referencing a Republican group though?

It's just an opinion I have being from as you stated a Irish-Catholic (Well, close enough) backround.

Just my 2p but some of my best mates are from Northern Ireland and are both Protestant and Catholic and they really couldn't give a shit which religion they are since most of them don't even go to church anymore. They also don't care if they are part of Ireland or the UK because it would make very little difference to their lives.

This problem now seems to be only cared about by a minority of people in Northern Ireland who have nothing else to do and as shown here, by people who it doesn't directly effect in any way but because of the american obession of placeing themselves into groups, feel they need to have an opinion.

Sweet Jesus.

V for Vendetta was absolute garbage.

Semi-decent action sequences.

Completely ridiculous and stupid cheap shots at the US.

Great stuff from the makers of the Matrix.
