Coaching schools
i was wondering if there were any schools out there that are residential, in which someone who is interested in earning a coaching diploma can enroll, and have a coaching license or diploma...
i know about the state and national coaching licenses, put are there any private organizations that offer classes, and provide diplomas....(not that im interested in diplomas, but in the actuall instruction)
i seem to see a whole lot of classes, courses, and clinics for players, but none really for coaches...
and yes i know about the NSCAA....
but what i have in mind is something like a residential program...like the Brasilian Football academy, or some of the European soccer coaching schools that i have heard some people mention online....does anybody understand what i am talking about...basically, where can you get some coaching knowledge in a classroom type of environment.
that is all,
any questions or comments.
sincerely,
iowa007

We live in the wrong country when it comes to coaching schools.
Here is one in Spain speak Castilian?
Spain has a three-year program for training soccer coaches, which is offered through the Escuela Nacional de Entrenadores (National School of Coaches), in coordination with Federacion Española de Fútbol (Spanish Soccer Federation). After the first year, the coach is certified to coach players under 18. After the second year, the coach is certified to coach at regional category. After the third year, the coach is certified to coach at the professional level. The coaching school can be contacted at:
Federacion EspaÒola de F™tbol

Dutch coaching schools in the U.S.
You can get your youth diploma or go for more. One involves going to Holland.

In the lasest issue of Soccer Journal from the NSCAA their was a trip to Germany, but you had to meet certain criteria to go. Week long German coaching class.
Hope this helps.
