Default Friedrich (Manuel) fur Deutschland!

Better late than never! Honestly, and I say this without my 05er glasses on--- Manuel should have been brought in a long time ago to see what he can do. He's not as big as Huth or Per, but he's much more mobile and is very good going forward. He is the complete organizer of the entire team. Without him we'd still be in the 2.liga. I truly hope he's given a real chance to show his game, not cause he plays for my fave club, but because I think he could really add a lot for the national team. Now if Klinsi would just call in Michael Thurk...

It's funny, I wrote that in jest about Thurk for the national team... but come to think about it, he has something that the national team lacks--- real bite and nastiness. Deisler, Schweini, Poldi, Ballack, Lahm, and all the young defenders, they're all very good players but there's a noticable lack of fiery, antagonistic, mean-streaked players (I'm thinking of a Jeremies, or Effe type) in the team. Our "killer Michl" has proven he can put the ball in the net at every level, but he's also got that bite in his game that teams need in a tournament.
