What was wrong with "MLS Teams"?
Now in order to get here you have to click the "MLS Clubs" link?
Is Red Bull's influence already so pervasive that they are junking up BigSoccer?
What's next?
"MLS Sides"?
I guess I'm just getting older but the change has really thrown off my BigSoccer rhythm.

Anyone who respects the tradition of the game is a Eurosnob even though this is something played all around the world.....
South america has Clubs, as do Africa and Asia
Or is this another case of someone who loves American provincialism?

But it's the most accurate word.
Either "franchises" or "clubs" is more accurate than "teams." Teams is too restrictive. You could only call it teams if you're only talking about the guys on the field and the bench. If you talk about the owner, the stadium, the business, that's not part of the team.
But they are all franchises of one company, technically.

Baseball franchises are called clubs as well. Surely they cannot be called Eurosnobs as well.

My God, cork it. Let it go. It's soccer. We invented every sport here in North America but soccer. They invented it in Europe. We should, in turn, use their terms.
