An letter about the game yesterday ... fell free to discuss
Bense,
that is my team as well, and I am pissed off how Klinsgay ruined it.
His Ideas , american fitness coaches etc. didn't brought the team forward.
They may accepted it in the beginning, but now they realized how ************ that was. Better fitness does not make us virtues with the ball. We still stick to being germany .. and now the team don't even have that. There is no ********ing TEAM SENSE. Klinsmann has destroyed it, by playing one player against the other. Anyone here knows the "Band of Brothers"- Series and book by Stephen Ambrose? Klinsmann definately is Herbert Sobel. What we need is a Dick Winters ... a guy who can motivate our team and give it back its team spirit, thats the only thing that can save our butts now .. we don't need supreme players, we never had that. Even if Günther Netzer things he was one, what made us strong, was that the teams sticked together, each one fought for another .. now each one wants to look good ..... and the whole game is turning toward Ballack .. if he failes ... we fail.

Huh? I didn't really follow that.
But the fact is, and Netzer pointed this out last night, that Germany simply doesn't have the players. After Ballack the midfield is only fine, the defence is awful and the attack is average. You can only do so much with ingredients like that. You saw Ballack standing in the middle of the field looking for someone, anyone to pass to, but nobody was there.
I have always liked Klinsmann, but thought that he was a bad choice as coach. Germany needed someone with more experience. Having said that, Klinsmann's job has not been made easier by the meddling of others and the disrespect of his authority.

I fully agree with this and I've been watching German teams for over 50 years. I still think they will be ready on June 9th and only a fool would discount their chances.....history tells us so....Germany did get an "easy" group although the round of 16 could be interesting and a lot tougher road than Germany got in 2002...

I wish Klinsi allowed Woerns back on the team. Also, what does Klinsi see in Asamoah? This guy has done nothing & looks like a running bull, no finesses.
I feel our strikers should be--Podolski-Klose-Hanke-Neuville-& Kiessling. (With Podolski & Klose starting). What do others think of that?

It's simple pick Didi "Kaiser" Hamann, he is superb for us when he plays and will allow Ballack to get forward. I seen the game last night and just think that the defence lacks concentration and experience at times, what about Ramelow, does he still play?
Even though I am English I hope Germany do well, it is always a better world cup when the hosts do well.

Wandi your words almost put a tear in my eye j/k. You are so right, what has made Germany a successful team is team unity. Players put their differences aside and fought for the bigger picture "Deutschen Stolz" I hope I got that right "Mein Deutsch ist Schlecht". It's not like our team has the best technically gifted footballers, its' that were organized, fast, and headstong. The old German tradition needs to come back. Thank you to the English fan who didn't hate on Germany I respect that, every English fan I have talked to hates Germany. I see your a Liverpool supporter, Liverpool are my favorite English club hopfully one day you will slay the Dragon that is Chelsea.

Even though we knocked you out of the Champions League 6-2 on aggregate? It was payback for 2002 though lol.
I hope we stop Chelsea, but I feel they will win the league every season that Abramovic is in charge and he is single handedly destroying the Premiership.
I hate the Argies and the French more than the German football team, probably because we respect you a lot more, because of your successes over us.
