Thumbs up

Count me in. I get off work at 5:30 and I'm just a couple of Metro stops away, so I should be working on my first one by 6:00!

Who is coming? Some folks from the other QPR boards?

Mark

I don't even have pesky nuisances like gainful employment to keep me.

But DC is 8 hours away

Any others firm up their attendance?

FYI, I'll be wearing this year's home jersey with "5 Carlisle" on the back. Having to see various Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U, and even Chelsea jerseys in various bars around DC, it'll be nice to walk into a place and see three or four people wearing our hoops!

Default Report on meeting of the Washington-area Chapter of the QPR Supporters Club

On Tuesday Feb 11, at 6 p.m. the QPR Supporter's Club, Washington-area Chapter convened its board of Directors for an inaugural meeting. A Charter was drafted and officers were elected (see "Decisions" section below). The meeting was declared to have a quorum as more than 50% of the known QPR fans in the area were present.
Present: Andy, Kevin H, Dylan Presman, Mark.
Excused Absense: 1967, Lofty, DC(Mark)

We also had the pleasure of Roger's company who flew in all the way from London to lend his legal expertise to this inaugural meeting.

Decisions:
1. Officers: It was decided that officers would be elected on a rotating basis. This will mean that the officer positions will be available to anyone who feels like claiming it at any time. In the event that more than one person wanted to hold a particular title (President, for example), that was fine and we'd just have two Presidents.

2. Charter: we only got as far as drafting the first Article of the Charter and would be open to suggestions as to possible other Articles. Here's what we have so far:

"Article 1: Keving Gallen is Magic!
Article 2: Whose getting the beers in?...." We kinds lost the plot at that point

Anyhow, a good time was had by all and we'll probably do it again sometime soon -- maybe on the weekend of the FA Cup semis

COME ON URRRRRRRRRRRRRssss!!
