Both...

the Mach3

Its great a combination of both. Its really manual though.

I'm going to go electric sooner or later, but I haven't felt the need to yet.

Most days I use an electric, a Braun 5614, especially when I have two or fewer days of growth on my beard. Any longer than that, and its best to use a manual. I've got a Mach3 and Gillette shave gel for that... haven't tried that new Fusion one yet.

One of these days I'll have to pick up some of that fancy shaving oil. I hear that stuff lets you shave ridiculously close.

I use electric, but am thinking about switching over to manual. (at least for my trip this summer because of the fact that it will eventually run out of charge)

Johno: what would make you want to change as you say? to electric that is.

On behalf of any woman that might kiss you, I ask that you please use a manual razor. Thank you.

I use nothing but a manual razor, a Schick Quattro to be exact.

Usually try to shave two to three times a week, unless I let it grow out a bit.

Manual for me, I'm still using the original Mach 3 (with gillete shaving gel). It's not like I shave very often anyway, (once every 5 days or so), but when I do I like to get a really smooth, close finish and I've yet to try an electric shaver that produces results that are as good.

For some reason I also get a bit of a rash on my neck whenevr I've tried an electric.

Tried electric for a week, did not like it at all, so now back to manual - at the moment using gillette sensor 3. Shave about 3 times/weeks usually after work so most of the time I have the Matthew Fox-type shadow on me.

With most electrics, you sort of have to get used to it and the way it works if you're used to a manual. I actually started with an electric back when I was like 16 or something, so that just tends to be a little easier for me to use.

I actually prefer an electric when I'm on vacation, as long as I take a power converter (which I generally need anyways). Actually many hotel rooms even have at least one US/UK/Europe combo plug in the bathroom just for shavers. Just reduces the chance that some overzealous airport security agent will want to rummage through my toiletries bag for my manual blade.
