St. Etienne
My how the mighty have fallen. I understand that St. Etienne have not been the best the past few years, but this year is really bad. I could not imagine Les Verts in National. But it is a distinct possibility, while their Massif Central neighbors, Clermont Foot are in the middle of the table. What has happened to St. Etienne?

Stade Riemes and Nice also used to be big clubs at one time also. I think out of St.Etienne,Riemes,Nice Nice has the best shot to become a top club again. I'm not saying Nice will do as well as StE. did in the 70's and 80's I'm saying that they will take StE.'s place amongst the French elite.
