Gillingham - Leeds
Leeds is still deep with defenders. We tied first leg 1-1 away. Viduka is ineligible because of his red card. I'm thinking Milner or Johnson will replace him.
Just incase anyone cares, here is what is left of our first team
Goalies
Paul Robinson
Nigel Martyn
Defense
Raul Bravo
Ian Harte
Lucas Radebe
Teddy Lucic
Dominic Matteo
Michael Duberry
Garry Kelly
Danny Mills
Midfield
James Milner
Stephen McPhail
Seth Johnson
Eirik Bakke
Paul Okon
Jason Wilcox
Harry Kewell
Forwards
Alan Smith
Mark Viduka
People Injured for a while..
Michael Bridges
David Batty
Nick Barmby
People Who could see first team action
Matthew Kilgallon
Shane Cansdell-Sheriff
Jacob Burns
Harpal Singh
Jamie McMaster
Frazer Richardson (On loan with Stoke City)

That's our midfield basiclly.... Smith is a striker, but he's playing midfield.....
That's just sad.
My team (in general, not for gills)
---Viduka - Smith---
---------Kewell---------
Wilcox---------Milner
--------Johnson--------
Bravo-Dom-Rads-Mills
--------ROBBO--------
I think that wouldn't be too bad with what we got.

definately not a bad lineup. our team has been very similar to that lineup most of the year, just without bravo and johnson. We have played a lot this year without Woodgate and Fowler and the lineup is still not that bad. I wouldn't mind seeing an experiment with Harte instead of Wilcox out on the left wing. Alan Smith needs to start scoring.

I agree, Harte should definetly get some playing time so we can see if he has truly lost it, or if he can regain his play of the Champion League a couple of seasons ago... I personally don't think much of Wilcox, doesn't impress me the least... Seth needs to play, theres no way we can sell another player for under half what we bought... He needs to establish himself and stay healthy so we can see why DOL spent millions on him...

4 injuries for the replay...
Kewell, Radebe, Lucic, and Matteo is probably out...
Wouldn't it be nice if we can catch a glimpse of Seth and Ian Tues?...

Harry Kewell has a hamstring problem he needs to rest, whilst Dominic Matteo has undergone scans on his knee this morning, the results of which he should know tomorrow. Teddy Lucic and Lucas Radebe are also all out.
|
Lucic has a concussion and I guess Radebe slipped and fell and flared up his knee.
Leeds squad: Robinson, Kelly, Harte, Viduka, McPhail, Wilcox, Smith, Mills, Bakke, Johnson, Duberry, Okon, Richardson, Milner, Kilgallon, Martyn.
Smith Viduka
Wilcox Johnson Okon Bakke
Harte Kilgallon Mills Kelly
Robinson

2-0 - Bakke in the 58th.
Harte has set up both goals apparently.
Rodney Wallace is being subbed out for Gills right now, and the Leeds fans gave him a very nice cheer. Well done.
