Re: The BigSoccer Arcade
LOL... I used to spend time there right after I became a premium member. Unfortunately its harder to disguise video games at work than it is to hide all my posting.

How do you hide your posting?

*Click click click* on the keyboard sounds just like it should if you were doing real, actual work.
That's what I tell myself, anyway. I'm technically writing a dissertation chapter right now. "Well, I have the document OPEN", I can tell myself when I start feeling guilty

Well, the typing of posts in between my regular work sounds normal, plus if someone walks into my cube I can quickly Alt+Tab over to Outlook or Exceed. Continuously bashing the spacebar combined with all the fancy game colors on my screen looks a bit out of place.
To be fair, pretty much everyone here uses the internet in between tasks, moreso on slow days. There are plenty of people who play Sudoku from time to time as well. Just don't think I've seen anyone playing an online arcade game. That's probably pushing it a little.

Hehe... the girl knows how to "work".
Of course the best for me is a time like this: my work is being halted by the fact that I need something from a coworker who hasn't finished yet. So technically there isn't anything I can do right now. Oh well, I'll find some way to pass the time.

Re: The BigSoccer Arcade
the key to hiding something is to first get some work done then totaly slack and bring up google on something complicated or crunch some numbers and look frusterated while doing so. it works for me at school

Re: The BigSoccer Arcade
You are all wrong, and incompetant... the best way to hide posting/playing at work (take this from someone who is currently unemployed ) is to have your own office and then you begin to take a break from whatever you are doing to do some work.
