Anyone else dislike City of Manchester Stadium?
http://www.worldstadiums.com/stadium..._stadium.shtml
It appears that its a multi-purpose facility and I've always hated those. This is the reason I dislike many Italian and German stadiums. And the reason I've always like English stadiums is that they're very intimate and close to the field. This one appears to be different.

City of Manchester Stadium is not going to be a multi-purpose stadium. After the commonwelth games they have torn up the running track and will lower the pitch making room for a a new tier below the existing ones.
A picture and some info of what it will look like is here...

That's a beautiful stadium. Reminds me a bit of the pictures I've seen of Arsenal's new stadium that they'll begin in using in 2005 (?)

Nice one,mate....I'm off work on wednesday so I'll give it a try! I've never got my head round that part of the city, but I used to drive past the gasworks when my lad was in Booth Hall hospital,so I reckoned on that being the best way!
