The Galaxy do have an international or former international at every position on the field..
Everyone has an international cap including the player who was voted 3rd best at this last World Cup.

You really have to question the rankings, especially since Independiente is the highest ranked team from the Americas. I think Toluca, Corithians, & America are better than the Diablos Rojos del Avellaneda. The Galaxy could be up there. I would like to see them play against some of these teams & see the results. I think the Galaxy can hang w/ Boca at the moment. & if you think I am high, then pass the blunt to the left side.

I have to agree, but only because I see the team that's last on the list of "best" club teams in the world - Sydney Sharks! I'm afraid that pretty much top to bottom of the EPL, La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga, not to mention Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and yes, MLS - are all much better than the Sydney Sharks. But it is nice to see that of all teams from the USA, the Galaxy has got the most clout.

These rankings are about as meaningless as something could be. I'm sure Zamalek of Egypt is the 46th best club in the world too.

yea but you can almost say the same about dc united too...the starting line-up next year...will include internationals at every position but two...and of those two...kovalenko will eventually be capped when he's a citizen....and santino will be capped too after the u-20's.
also...does it really matter when those "internationals" are WAY past their prime...i.e. lalas and cienfuegos.
