Default The Super Bowl

Is anyone going to watch it? I'm mildly interested, so I might flip to it every now and then.

My favorite part is really reading the diary they have in the Onion.

One is kinda forced to watch it. I'm more interested in Liverpool's game. I am pulling for Pittsburgh. Reminds me of LFC. Crap in the 50's and 60's, and great in the 70's and 80's. Working class city with a real culture.

The Seachickens are my team, we have a party going here. Because of the threats of a windstorm my buddy bought a generator. It'll work for the TV and the fridge..!!!

GO SEAHAWKS...!!!

I'll definitely watch.

Like LB, I'm doing the football/football double-header.

Watching LFC/Chelski at my brother's, and then it's over to a friend's house later that afternoon for his Super Bowl party.

I don't really have a rooting interest. I'd like to see Alexender play well since he's a Kentucky boy. Other than that, I guess you can put me in the "I just want to see a good game" camp.

Actually brought a tear of pride to my eye. I haven't watched NFL at all this year but fo the first half of Colts/Steelers and 1st Qtr of Buckeyes/Irish. Frankly after watching it my whole life, it got realyl boring. Plus the fans don't know shit about the game either.

I used to watch a lot of football but now I can't say I watch a full game a year.
Three and a half hours for 60 minutes of play, interspaced with Experts (who used to play and by some sort of skewed Groundhog Day system, get better with every year away from the game) Telling you in strident voices "How they should have ran that play." :theisman:
And a shit pot full of meaningless adverts.
Since the "recent" event of FOOTBALL/soccer being aired, I've given up on the game of pointy ball.

But not the excuse for a good party...!!!
