Week 2 matches
Disappointing loss today.
I failed to break 200 and he got the runs with 8 wickets and 8 overs to spare. It's a little frustrating as my ratings were better than his except for opening batsmen. Other than that I was a level or two above him and I lose easily.
A close loss, maybe, but it seems a little out of whack to me. In fact my opponent emailed me during the match to see if I TIE'ed as he was surprised he was gonna win.
We both normaled

Re: Week 2 matches
I got my ass kicked again - he had a wicked spinner. God do I ever need better bowlers.

Re: Week 2 matches
I'm completely dominating right now. My opponents came up to bat first and right now they're down to their last wicket with 57 runs through 24 overs.

Re: Week 2 matches
My Mosquitos are bowling first and things are looking good. Used a mixed lineup of A and B teamers.
End of Over 30: 118-9, runrate=3.93

Re: Week 2 matches
The Norse batsmen are back to their usual demolition of opposing bowling. We're playing normal at home against Stong Arm Steady... I prolly should have TIEd it, but I didn't want to risk the points.

If you look closely you can still see remnants of my opponent's boot wedged about six inches into my a$$.

Re: Week 2 matches
Clobbered a bot today... it was fun. no hundreds for the first time in a long while when I batted first, but every one of my batsmen did well and I managed 308 and bowled them out for 105 with only the openers getting into double figures.
I'm probably going to lose my next match, but I'll be GFI so who knows... I'm delighted to be in 2nd based on NRR right now though.

Re: Week 2 matches
Lost a close one by 4 wickets. 149/10 in 39.5 overs to 153/ 6 in 47.5 overs. The ratings were slightly in my favor but didn't reflect the match at all. I got a strong ranking for my top order but my first three batters all registered career lows in runs (14, 13 and 0). Going into today my lead batter had a ridiculous average of like 173 but is now down to 112 after his 13 run performance.

Re: Week 2 matches
won my league match. i played gfi, was worried about his opening batsmen. hit 270ish, bowled him for 150ish, so it might have been a match if i had normaled it.
odd thing, in my cup match i played tie, and my top order put up the same rating as they did when i played gfi.
