He was selected in the 1st round --- 10th overall.

The A-League draft means nothing. It doesn't stop that player for looking for work in any other league and only protects that player from other A-League teams for a couple of weeks, then the player is free to go to any other A-League team he wants.

The A-League draft is just a publicity gimmick.

Milan Kojic of the Toronto Lynx will have a trial with FK Haugesund of the Norwegian first division before the A-League season starts.
