Read me: Help Hold USSF Responsible
Ok, I'm not sure if anyone is pissed off enough to write someone about it...but here goes anyway. Below are the e-mails of some of the nation's foremost soccer writers and columnists...or at least the ones I found in a quick search. (if i missed anyone, feel free to add).
I'm not sure if someone wants to post a sample letter (I'm almost out of energy), but I think it's a good idea to send these writers a little explanation of the fiasco, your feelings on it, and a request that they look into it/report on it. You know, I know it: U.S.S.F. doesn't answer to anyone really, so they won't really give a damn about this, no matter what they say in their insincere apologetic e-mail which I'm expecting in the next few days. The only way to make them pony up, provide answers, overhaul the process, and maybe publicly apologize is for them to get some bad press.
I'm calling on all of you out there, whether you got tickets or not, whether you're still mad or not, to take a few minutes and take some action. Write one e-mail and bcc all below on it...makes it quicker.
Hope I'm not alone on this.

Re: Read me: Help Hold USSF Responsible
i am still pissed off so I am up for it - sounds like a good way to get USSF's attention - better than a phone call telling them how unrespnable there process was

Re: Read me: Help Hold USSF Responsible
Are any of these contacts located in CHICAGO? It might cause more of a stir if we direct all our focus/attention towards the city the USSF HQ is located in (not just complaining to our individual "local" media outlets). Just a thought ...

Re: Read me: Help Hold USSF Responsible
Anybody got Steven Goff's e-mail at the Washington Post. I'm sure he'd love to have something to report on during a slow part of the year, and the Post loves to go after the kind of incompetence that the USSF has exhibited.

Maybe we can hold some sort of demonstration at the Jan/Feb friendlies. I can see fussf t'shirts being a hot sell at those games.

Anything you send, make sure you stay on the facts rather than the emotion. Nothing kills the points you want to make when you make a couple of 'over the top' statements. Not accusing anyone of being a hothead, just recommending you keep to the points.

How about Frank Deford or Jim Rome?
Seriously, something needs to be done. USSF needs to be held accountable. This past month has just been a nightmare.

Excellent suggestion. Maybe write it tonight, but don't send. Proof it tomorrow and take out aggressive statements, then send
I think I will probably do that...
But let's all do it....don't pull a USSF and procrastinate.
