Default Who from you stay in Cologne-Rhein Area?

I was wondering how many people will stay during the world cup in

Cologne/Düsseldorf
or in Rhine Area?

If you need any information, let me know.

Maybe we can organize some meeting of US fans there.
Well I´m German but I support both USA and Germany.
Hope we get many US fans here.

We have a villa in Weiden, about 15k north of Idar-Oberstein. I think that is around 80k south of Koln right?

We (4 couples) rented a villa, a converted farm complex, in the countryside that sleeps 20. It only has four bedrooms, though, a sleeping loft, kitchen, 3 baths, and a large communal room/eating area with cable TV. We booked it almost two years ago to nail down a good price. We're planning a lot of day trips to check out the castles, nature, and wine country, all very close.

We have many friends in Germany who will be visiting us and if any of you BSers are in the area please drop by the American Compound.

My wife and I will be spending our first two days in Germany, June 11-13 in Cologne. We will be taking the train from Cologne to Gelsenkirchen for the game on June 12. I believe the two cities are fairly close.

Everything I have read says that Cologne is a great city so I am looking forward to our visit there.

My wife and I are staying at the Hotel Berial in Dusseldorf for three days surrounding the first match, and we may end up there again if the US makes the second round (game that's in Dortmund).
