Just a question from a Yank.
Until fairly recently I have not followed the England Nat team so I just had a few questions. Why haven't I seen Fowler on any of the Nat. teams during the World Cup and after? Is he always injured or something? Also, seeing as that England sometimes has problems scoring goals why isn't MacManaman at least on the bench?

Fowlers been injured and out of form. He's been in and out of the England team for years. Sven prefers Heskey and Owen up front. I would personally like to see Fowler play up front with Owen.
If you ever get chance to see footage of England matches where McManaman has played you'll see why he's not in the team. Goal scoring is not normally a problem and when it is it's due to the tactics rather than the players.

MacManaman doesn't seem to have the same problems with Real Madrid as with the Nat. team...it just seems that with the problem of not having a consistent person to play on the left he should be given another shot as a substitute. Other than the Belgium game England really had a problem scoring in the World Cup and was not especially impressive in the friendly against Portugal, although I would agree with you somewhat with the tactics. Sven definitely needs to get someone else with Owens because Heskey is just not cutting it (not even in the Premiership).

Belgium? I think you mean Denmark. Remember that we scored in every game but one, and kept clean sheets in three. Goal scoring wasn't the problem until the 2nd half against Brazil.
The Portugal friendly was just another chance to experiment.
We had the chances to beat Macedonia, I'm still amazed how they only conceeded two but that's just the way it goes.
I'll say again, goal scoring is not our problem and even if it was Mcmanaman would be a long way down the list of things to solve it. England's problem is most definately tactical. I don't know why Sven insists on bypassing the midfield with longballs to a striker who isn't very big. We need to play it through the middle, we have the players to do it.
I'd love to see England with a Spanish coach.

Like who? I can't think of a Spanish coach good enough for the position of England manager. And if there are any - why aren't they managing Spain?

The only name at the club level that comes to mind is Hector Cuper. Although he hasn't won any hardware in Serie A, his Inter side is tied atop the table with Milan and they're making good progress through Champion's League. And it's hard to argue with his success at Valencia.
Also Camacho did a decent job in the past World Cup, or at least he was adequate enough to avoid the usual early exit. And if they weren't so unlucky vs Korea, I believe Spain would have beaten Germany and challenged Brazil in the Final.
I don't know if either would be better than Eriksson, but there are capable Spanish coaches.

Oops.
There were websites that referred to him as a Spaniard. Liars.
But wouldn't that be something, England coached by an Argentine?

I have to say the idea of a spanish coah is laughable to me......... what have spanish coach's done for Spain's National team lately. Don't tell me that it's a lack of talent either. They are stacked!
No, you would have to attribute it to the type of system they've been playing, and that's all the coach's fault.
How about a Frenchie coach for the english? It has worked great for Arsenal...... oh wait that's not really an english team is it?
