Final matches
I walked all over this guy in my final match - held him to under 100 runs and was finished by the 17th over. 20th in the promotion table (up one spot) so Div III here I come.

Re: Final matches
I"m playing TIE against the number 2 team, who is going to stomp me. I'll be luck to score 50 runs. I need to get my fitness up a little for my playoff match.

Re: Final matches
Even with a TIE, Norse popped a NRR of +8 in a bot-bash, most likely sewing up a qualifier. The opponent were bowled out for 57 runs, and Sulieman Seargeant and Thom Pook combined to set a blistering strike rate to close the match. I think our match was over before the second place team had come to bat in their match.

Re: Final matches
Well, my once all-bot league is now mostly human, but I still finished undefeated and earned an autopromote to DIII. We'll see how I do against real competition next season.

Re: Final matches
I joined my league partway through when I was already out of the race, but I finished in second and in my last game I became the only team to take points off of the series winner this season. Rock on.

Re: Final matches
Won quite comfortably at home. Finished 4th in WI II.3 with 36 points. Judging by the promotion tables, next season will be much tougher.

Re: Final matches
6+ NRR hammering on TIE and I've promoted... I face the guy who promoted out of my series last season I think, in the qualy and he's not nearly ready for me... going to get stomped. The win today was impressive... bowled him out for 80 and got to 82 in 10.1 overs.. a little faster and I could have had a sub 10 over win and I'm not sure I've ever done that.

Re: Final matches
And I'm drawn with the other II.4 qually team... that series has outrageous evilness potential for next season.

Re: Final matches
Checking in from Boulder, Co -- here for a wedding tonight.
Won my last match and won my series, will face a tough qualifier to promote to III next season.
Looking to pick up a bowler before next Friday to give myself a boost and maybe surprise my opponent.
