Default Spurs v Everton [R]

I don't mind giving up 2 or 3 goals nearly as much if we are going to score at least one more than our opponent. Congrats to Keane-OH ! on his first Prem. hat trick. And to the Yank, McBride, on a debut goal to start off his loan period with Everton.

I thought Gus was getting old, but he has played well in a couple of games recently, including today. Keller misses Dean Richards tremendously and losing Ziege has strained us as well. Ledley had some horrible passes out of the back, but otherwise did okay. Stephen Carr has been working hard and playing well simultaneously (which is always the hard part for me). Sicknote had some good stuff on occassion.

I have a hard time looking back at some of the easy points we let slip away and thinking that we might not finish top 8. But looking at the schedule, the top 8 all play each other a lot to finish out the season. So we could finish 4th if we can play well consistently down the stretch. Our position could/should be a lot better, but we are by no means out of a Euro spot.

Agreed - a Euro spot is not out of the question. But we need 2 things: 1)Keane-oh! must not get injured (there I've jinxed it); 2)Richards needs to get back in the starting line up. As much as Hoddle has been shopping for another striker, I think a solid defender would do just as well, if not better.

And please Glenn, stop playing bloody 3-5-2, it never works and you always end up reverting to bloody 4-4-2 and the game turns for us. Does this not tell you something?

Good to see another american spurs fan who also probably cheered when McBride scored. All my american friends as if by impluse to choose a winner go Arsenal or ManU. when they get hooked on EPL.

Looks like Spurs got a decent schedule ahead, while no game is a gimme, should be able to get maximum points against Aston Villa, Sunderalnd, Fulham, and Birmingham if we play as well as we did against Everton or ManCity.

It could be worse, after getting spanked by Arsenal, the next three games for BC are ManU, Chelsea and Liverpool -- can anyone say 0 points, even with ze french arTist Dugarry on board...
