There is room for more carriers of La Championnat in the U.S. than just TV5. Last year, TV5 only showed the game from TPS. There are two games on Canal+ every week, that FSW picked up later in the season.

Today in the first round of Le Championnat Guingamp hosts Lyon.

In the Third Division Reims face Lorient.

To receive TV5 through the DISH Network bouquet you must own a 20" dish and a decoder, both available at autorized retailers (1) .
If you are an individual, the general public subscription fee is US$9.99 /month + US$5 for administrative fees if you wish to limit your subscription to TV5 and RFI (Radio France Internationale).

If you are an institution, subscription fees are US$100 per year. For more details about fees and installation, contact DISH Network (free number): 1 877 586 9675.

Equipment costs are 99.00 USD, to which you must add either the fees of installation by a specialist (US$199.00 ), or the installation kit if you wish to install it yourself (US$29.00 ).

(1) Authorized retailers
There are more than 6 000 autorized retailers for DISH Network in the USA. To know the address of your nearest local retailer, call 1 877 586 9675 (ask for option 1, and then option 2).

If you already own a C band dish antenna (a 6 to 10 foot antenna), and if you also own a digital decoder, you can subscribe directly to Galaxy XI satellite. Please contact Superstar/Netlink at 1 800 225-5772.

For individuals, subscription to TV5 through Superstar/Netlink is US$9.99 per month.

For schools, high schools, universities or other institutions, you must contact the International Channel company at 303.712.5452. Subscription to TV5 costs US$100 per year.

I'm still confused about FSW carrying games. Is Canal+ carrying any games this season? Does this mean that FSW will pick up the Canal+ games? Or is TV5 the sole carrier?

Canal + will continue to carry L1 matches this season in France. Canal + distributes matches through TV5 and TV5 also carries "Jour du Foot" which is another Canal + program. It seems as though TV5 is the primary distributor for L1 in North America this season. Not sure how this effects FSW but I'm hoping that they'll to show L1 @ some point this season.
