If it's first come first sirve , shouldnt they already have most of the people that are receiving tickets ? ( unless they didnt receive enough ticket orders.. which I find very very unlikely )

Ticket Information for 2006 FIFA World Cup

The pre-sale will end on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at 5 p.m. CT. Any tickets still available after the private pre-sale will be made available to the general public on Friday, January 6, 2006, at 9 a.m. CT. All ticket orders are subject to U.S. Soccer and FIFA’s Terms and Conditions and members with order forms that cannot be filled (i.e. insufficient information, payment issues, etc.) will be notified before tickets are released to the public. Orders received after the U.S. Soccer allotment is sold will be placed on a waiting list with U.S. Soccer until all preceding orders are confirmed.

There seems to be some guarded optimism around here for those who got their information into USSF on Tuesday, but the official announcement is supposed to come around that January date.

I'm for one am trying not to think about it, but here I am back in US Fans again...

Yes, I KNEW when the pre-sale ended, but if the requests for all the tickets have been filled up already, then why should it take 17 more days to determine who gets tickets or not?

The pre-sale should officially end Jan. 4th - meaning people should still be able to be put on a waiting list until then - but if all the tickets are requested before then, then there is NO point in waiting until the 4th to let people know if they got tickets or not. Make sense?

Yeah , and after they notify , they can check , and if your not eligible , they could email. I dont know , maybe there is more to this .. I just really want to know

Do you think they've already sold over 21,000 tickets? I don't.
