What Is "Friends of US Soccer"
I noticed on the e-mail that if you are a "Friend of US Soccer", a different fax number was provided for the application. Anyone know what the hell this is? I wonder how many of the 8% allotment are guaranteed to this group.
I'm sure there are many of you out there like myself that traveled to every one of the home qualifiers this past year. Some of you even made it down to Azteca. I'm not sure if US Soccer knows who there real Friends are.

That means you went to USSOCCER.COM and created an account. It doesn't cost anything, but you get email reminders periodically of various USSF happenings. In this case, you were given a password that allows you to request tickets ahead of the general public.
My guesstimate is that anyone who isn't already registered with USSF is SOL.

I'm not talking about being registered on USSoccerfan.com. I know all about that, and got my password too. What I saw was a different ticket sale for members of US Soccer Foundation and a different sale for those designated as Friends of US Soccer. They were to use the same application we all did, but were able to fax it to a different number. I assume they got priority. I'm wondering if anyone knows who this group would include.

Congrats Charlie "3 post", you now have started your first thread!
Almost a year ago, you made your first post - you've come a way long, baby!
Actually, last week, I was wondering how many posts you have...
See you in Germany.

Re: What Is "Friends of US Soccer"
A friend of US Soccer is probably someone that has contributed to the US Soccer Foundation.
