unofficial where can we get drunk at in our match cities?
So unofficial I didn't even capitalize it Quite early yes but I am bored and like the thought of World Cup partying. Takes the mind off the ticket request fiasco. I want suggestions. Share em if you got em! ')

Anywhere you want. No open container laws in Deutschland.

I think he means specific places for USA fans to meet/drink.
You're reply is also about what i was thinking, It'll be hard to find a place where you can't have a drink....

Cafe Central
Kaiserslautern
Wonderful trendy bar that is a great late night spot. When the other bars are closing down, Central is just getting started. Always packed during the after-hours on Friday's and Saturday's. Great liquor selection with single malt whiskies available. Decent amount of seating throughout the bar. Jammed with the younger crowd, Central is a fun place if you dont want to stop the party!
Directions:
Across from the Spinnradl restaurant downtown K-Town.

Cool Runnings
Kaiserslautern
Fun place to be on a Friday and Saturday night. My good friend works as the bouncer there, Steven. Mostly twenty somethings looking for a good time. Cool Runnings' speciality are fun and unique shots. Jamacian style atomosphere with about 5 tables downstairs with a bar and tons of seating upstairs with bar. Waitress' run around throughout the bar and some sell quick shots. Owners are very cool. Definately worth a stop in when you are "downtown" K-Town.
Directions:
Inbetween the Hannen Fass and Thirsty Nellies near the Walkplatz downtown Kaiserslautern

Maktahhl

Closest place to a "club" you will find in the downtown area. Fun, hip dance bar worth stopping in to when you want to dance. There is no "dancefloor" as such, but people pretty much dance wherever there is a space. There is an upstairs with table and chairs and a few in around the wall of the bar, but not much seating anywhere else. Mostly standing room, but usually you come here to dance. They have boxes for you to get up on and dance in front of everyone. The beer is supplied by the Brauhaus Am Market brewpub which is great. Small liquor selection, but they have Red Bull & Vodka... what else do you need!
Directions:
In-between the Hannen Fass and Thirsty Nellies near the Walkplatz downtown Kaiserslautern

Opera
Kaiserslautern
Good solid drinking spot! Right on the corner of the action of downtown K-Town. Pretty trendy little joint that is nice and dark inside. They serve every kind of mixed drink with Erdinger Hefe-Weizen on tap, one of my favorites. Not a bad place to go after most bars have closed down, guess you could say its an alternative to Cafe Central.
Directions:
On the corner at the maktplatz, downtown K-Town.

Thirsty Nellis
Kaiserslautern
Classic Irish pub! Wonderful fun atmosphere with true Irish theme. Guinness on tap of course and my personal favorite, great single malt Scotch Whiskies by the dram. Has all the good ones, Highland Park, Macallan, Talisker, Lagavulin, and more! A little cramped on Friday's and Saturday's of course but if you can get a seat, your in for a great night. Tough to get to the bathroom because of the narrow walkway between the bar and the wall, which can be a big pain when you've had 4-5 pints! Nevertheless, a must to stop by when you are out and about on the weekend.
Directions:
Next to the kebab stand near the Walkplatz downtown Kaiserslautern

Glastube
Katzenbach
Definately a local pub. Mostly the residents of the Katzenbach village, but a fun stop after a hard day of work nonetheless. Very tiny inside so dont expect to just walk on in and find a seat. If you live in the village (as I do), then its a fun place to be. Once everyone knows who you are, its a blast. They serve my favorite beer, Franziskaner, so I am always willing to go back. Thank goodness its only 50M from my front door!
Directions:
On the main road through Katzenbach. Katzenbach is just before Spesbach.

Blarney Stone
Landstuhl
Definately one of the best real pubs outside of the UK you will find. Nice dark atmosphere with live sport on a few TV's situated around the pub with a nice big screen at the front of the pub. Murphy's Irish Stout on tap with a decent Hefe-Wiezen from the bottle. Bar is in the middle of the pub and the waiters/waitress' are everywhere ensuring that your pint never runs dry. Good spot on the weekend and a great spot for a social pint during the week. Nice location too, easily accessed from just about everywhere.
Directions:
Down near Da Gino's restuarant on Haupt Str.

Re: unofficial where can we get drunk at in our match cities?
Excellent FCT, thanks for the input.
We should all find a large bar in each of the host cities, within walking distance of the stadium, to congregate at before each game. Web info is nice but if there's someone out there who's familiar with these towns and can suggest a place off first-hand experience that'd be even better.
I'm thinking congregate at the bar 6 hours or so before kickoff of each game, head over to the stadium to tailgate with about 3-4 hours remaining before kickoff, then march into the stadium 45 minutes to an hour before kickoff.

The more the merrier!! Still need a few folks who'll be renting cars in Deutschland to volunteer for the tailgate, though...can't exactly lug a hibachi and a couple coolers around on the U-Bahn.
