A few more Canadian players have signed on with Swedish clubs over the past few weeks I believe...

I will see if I can find the info...

I believe Atiba Hutchinson has now signed with Osters IF in Sweden.

Here is a list of Canadian players who are abroad...

http://www.canadian-soccer.com/net/lists/abroad.htm

Shaun Goater plays for Man City, and he is from Bermuda.

Good stuff Martin, thanks...of course you can substitute Brian McBride for Joe Max Moore at Everton, and Earnie Stewart isn't with NAC Breda anymore, he's coming to MLS.

And Stefani Migliorzani is now with Swindon Town (Eng 2).

Changes made to original list:

1. Corrected Migs information
2. Added Goater
3. Added Richard Hastings and Wyn Belote for the Canadians.

I did not add those Canadians who are on Reserves, youth or loans. Nor did I add the Canadians who play for another country.

My list is accurate only through December 31, 2002. After that, I will add new entries such as McBride though the list will continue to contain those that were rostered in Europe for part of the 2002/2003 season like Stewart and Moore.

Just a few notes on Canada. Niall Thompson is no longer with Wycombe (though Mark Rogers still is). Canadian youngster Terry Dunfield is now playing first team with Bury in the English 3rd Division - he's a central midfielder. Martin Nash (formerly of Rochster Raging Rhinos in the A-league) has just signed with Macclesfield Town in the English 3rd Division - he's normally a wide-left midfielder. Rob Friend is a young Canuck striker who just signed with Moss in the Norwegian First Division. Adam Braz is a defender who just signed with Vasteras (sic?) in the Swedish First Division. To confirm what Canadian Supporter stated, 19-year old Atiba Hutchison has signed with Osters in the Swedish Premiere League. He is a central defensive midfielder (who I think will get called to play against the US on the 18th).

These are first-team players. There are a whole bunch more in the youth ranks or reserves, but I guess that's for another list.

One more Canadian national team member that I don't think is there -midfielder Tam Nsaliwa plays first team for FC Saarbrucken in Germany.

Incidentally, Hume & Xausa's are strikers, Reda is a central defender, there's no "i" at the end of Corrazzin, and its Julian De Guzman, rather than "Julio". (Sorry if that comes across as being nit-picky).

Torrado was a starter before the his injury. Up until a month or ago, Torrado was still injured. And he has been starting every game since.

So you consider the Bundesliga and the rest of the EPL rubbish?

Either way, this is CONCACAF Abroad thread, which means all leagues should be accounted for, not just the big teams.
