I knew someone on here worked with pitchfork.

 

Brian Ching should've made that record. He's younger.

 

Ching's a poushover and he would've caved to record company pressure.

 

I bet that record plays better in england than it does over here.

 

Ican just imagine the conversation at the Pitchfork offices.

Editor 1: "Yeah, it's funny that we refer to soccer, but won't that be kind of an obscure reference for most people?"

Editor2: "Obscure reference? Dude....we're ********ing Pitchfork."

Editor 1: "....Oh Yeah."

 

I hope he doesn't pull a vocal cord when he goes on tour.

 

Pitchfork do make the occasional soccer reference. I seem to recall a mention of the Mackems in some piece on Maximo Park. (Or maybe it was the Futureheads?)
