I can quite honestly say, hand on heart, that I have never seen such a one sided game against Spurs in my life. It was excruciatingly embarrassing. From the moment the game started it was all one way traffic. In most games the action shifts from one team to the other, both enjoying attacking and spells of possession. Not so in this one. Credit to Southampton, they wiped the floor with us. But our lads must hang their heads in shame, or at least donate a weeks wages to charity or something. Pi55 poor, diabolical, hold on while I get the thesouras. Just one of those games.

Keano skied a shot from 6 yards out, and at another point he rounded the keeper and then missed an open goal. On Teletext each Spurs player got a mark of 4 out of 10. I have never seen anyone get so low a mark, let alone a whole team.
You might think I'm exaggerating, trust me, I'm not. Just ask a Southampton fan. I bet they loved every second of that game.

And I forgot to add that Keller was abominable. Sh1te beyond sh1te.

What were Keller's mistakes? I read that he made some good saves. He couldn't hold a Beattie free-kick was the only mistake I heard mentioned. One of the other goals was scored from 15 yds out, with the defense BACKING OFF!!! I am glad I didn't have the opportunity to watch the disgrace.

Spurs seem like they are going downhill. Is it Hoddle's fault? We have some good players on the team. We seem to play some excellent football at times while still managing to lose or play like utter crap and manage a victory...I don't know what to expect, except inconsistency and the unexpected.

Sounds like everyone played horribly. I hope this doesn't give Hoddle an excuse to bench Keller, with Sullivan being back on the bench and all. We seemed to miss Dean Richards terrrrribly.

Last I heard is we're not going to buy anyone until we've sold some, which is ridiculous. Who in their right mind would want to buy any of our crappy 'for sale' players? Sherwood, Clemence, Ferdinand, etc. Also Spurs are unlikely to renew several contracts at the end of the season, including Freund's.

As for our defence backing off, remember Henry's goal against us where no-one challenged him? That is what happened. Svensson (or whoever, who cares) ran unchallenged from inside his own half and smacked the ball very VERY close to Keller. Fair dues, Keller was at least moving towards the striker, but I feel he should've saved it.

Hodd's tactics and substitutions are generally mad. Bringing off Perry and leaving Ben 'Lightening' Thatcher on was just asking for trouble.

Poyet is finished now, and so is Sheringham. We need to blood some more youngsters, instead of releasing them to lower league clubs.

Nope. I remember them well. Sitting in a pub up Muswell Hill in my Spurs shirt while supporters of other London clubs (guess who) took the p1ss. I also remember Bolton beating us by a similar amount in the not too distant past. Bad days.
