Default Inaugral International Matches

It'll be interesting to see the West Indies, since BS has a large contingent. Anyway, here are the first round of matches for the full NT's:

England v Sri Lanka
Australia v Pakistan
South Africa v India
New Zealand v West Indies

And for the U-19's:

England v Sri Lanka
West Indies v Pakistan
South Africa v India
Australia v New Zealand

Keep in mind that these are all friendlies. Coming up soon (next season?) the World Cup will take place.

As I type this, Australia's full squad has already beaten Pakistan 247-7 to 60 all out. The Oz U-19's also defeated the NZ U-19's 278-1 to 277-2, with Australia taking 44 overs to meet their neighbors total.

Chances are looking good that England and Australia are going to dominate, with everyone else playing for third place.

I'm shocked we didn't see England vs. Australia for the first match... The England v. Sri Lanka match ups are going to be slaughters

For the full sides, England v Sri Lanka was hardly a blow-out. 246-6 to 243 all out, with England going 48 overs to get the win.

And in the biggest upset of the first round easily, the SL U-19's beat the England U-19's!!!!!!!!! I'm overflowing with national pride! 313-2 to 309-4, with SL winning with only an over to spare.

The South Africa youths only needed 72 runs and 18 overs to defeat their Indian counterparts

In the corresponding game with the big boys, India took the victory in a very low scoring match.

And I tuned into the Windies U-19's v Pakistan U-19's to see the West Indies put up a total of 270 all out going into the break, on a slow pitch.

I also got a BT-mail from the national team scout asking about four of my batsmen (including my 18 yo star). The rest would have to go on the full side, and I don't see them making it, but you never know.

That's pretty good wicketkeeping, but his lack of batting skill might detract the managers (especially for the full side). Still, show him to the managers, because he might be the best wicketkeeper in your country.

My 17yo was out on his first ball in the India - South Africa U19 match

Possibly the first player ever to get that particular 'acheivement' at international level? It was in about the 4th over.
