A question: why isn't SIgames promoting the try-n-buy on their site?

The try and buy is PC only unfortunately.

Because it wasn't ready to go until 2am in London, so some of the people weren't ready, it should be on the front page tommorow.

Still using 01/02 here. Hope I can run the new one--I'll go ahead and cancel my appointments for this year.

Pretty good so far, playing with Bristol Rovers have 2 wins and a loss three games into the season.

I am enjoying it thouroughly.

The thing about the game is, it's pretty flexible, if you have a monster machine you can play a ton of leagues with a massive database.

If you have near the lower end you can't run nearly as much.

Also some people tend to play the game very slowly so they can get away with it not being very quick to process, others want the game to fly past and so think a slower machine is un playable.

I'd personally saying a 2ghz+ and 512megs of ram would be ideal to run 2 or 3 leagues on the normal db, but that's me.

The more ram (up to a point, probably not much difference past 1 gig or so) and faster the chip the better.

The graphics card and sound card are pretty irellevant.

I put in the 5 major countries/leagues and it goes pretty slowly, maybe 2 weeks in an hour if there are a few matches in that time. But that allows me to do homework etc. and just generally take it easy.
