Lyonnais scarf?
Does anyone know where I may be able to purchase one? I wish I had bought one when I was in Lyon the summer of 2004, but I didn't think to.

I just checked on their online store:
http://boutique.olweb.fr/
They have other models but say, this one:
http://boutique.olweb.fr/iso_datasou...3182_phj_2.jpg
So, that's € 15 yes, and shipping charges are € 25.
You can register there (ask if you need help) and
your "panier" (basket) will look like this:
Echarpe Umbro
Total 15.00 €
Frais de port Reste du monde 25.00 €
Total 40.00 €
All "mumbled" but you get the idea..."echarpe Umbro",
that's your scarf, price is € 15 + € 25 for "frais de port"
(shipping)
Total is € 40.
Not cheap...
But!
I checked further and added two items to my "panier"
goal-keeper gloves and a bag. Shipping cost remained
at € 25 for everything ( now we're down to € 8 or so
per item). Of course there's got to be a limit there,
somewhere...but it worked with the 3 things I ordered...
So...it's probably worth it if you order a few things...
for yourself or for you and a few friends.
Ask if you need any help with all this.
Maybe someone knows where to buy OL stuff elsewhere,
I don't...

Re: Lyonnais scarf?
Merci...
C'est tres mal que j'ai oublie les francais depuis j'etais en France pour l'ete de 2004.
Hopefully I can afford to fork about 50 dollars American for the scarf. I have 5 or 6 scarves and would love to add my collection since a few of the scarves are teams I don't care about (Real Madrid and Man U).

It's pas grave
If you need help, just ask.
And in any case, it really shouldn't be your problem
having to figure out how to order from them...
[begin rant] this is typical French-"small business"
mentality and it pisses me off, it really does...OL wants
to be a "player", one of the "big clubs". What don't they
start feuking translating their feuking website! Why
do potential foreign fans/ customers have to ask French
speakers about buying anything from them?? So feuking
typical...There's an English-language section on
the site, this: http://olweb.fr/en/index_va.html ,
but it's really poor and sure enough doesn't include
the online store...[end rant]

Re: Lyonnais scarf?
Yikes, that is far too much to pay for a scarf. 15 Euros is already kinda expensive for a scarf. 25 Euros shipping is robbery.

Re: Lyonnais scarf?
the 15€ scarf is knitted not woven, and extra long. the normal scarves are 12€. you can get outmoded ones cheap at the store, these days my favorite is one that says SONNY ANDERSON that i got for...2€
i agree with fishbiproduct's opinion about the website, all the other big clubs have full english (even japanese and chinese) versions. and i just saw the online boutique for the first time in about a year, it's worse than before. it's about time OL gets out of franco-français mode!
