Battrick thread, Part III
I won by 246 runs. 339 - 93. I'm dissappointed in my respectable batter who only scored 1 run on 3 balls before getting out though.
Finished second in my series (III.7 Jamaica) with 44 points and I'll be promoting.

we might end up in the same league.
339 is a great total, wouldn't worry about the one batsment who didn't perform well. every player has a bad game every once in a while

What are his consistency, concentration, and stamina ratings? I've found that this has just as much effect on a player's performance as their other skills.
Seriously, just check out my match (670). Short Review: Both teams played bated the full 50 overs, and we were within three runs of each other. Luckily, I came out on top. That would have been nerve-racking to watch live.
Unfortunately, the team I needed to lose ended up winning by 10 wickets, and I didn't get close to his run rate, so I'm going to be in III.7 another year, but as the best returning squad (although I'll get severe competition from the guy I beat today).
I'm looking back on a few games that I should have won. What a difference it would have made

woeful consistancy, respectable stamina, strong form. I thought concentration only matters for bowlers but his is competant. I got a bit unlucky in that my best batters all have good concentration but bad consistancy while my bowlers have good consistancy but low concentration.

It was a mistake to allow you to do that in season one friendlies, now as we move into season two I would imagine they have corrected the bug.

It's a friendly, you never should have been able to set it in the first place. HT had a similar issue for a number of seasons.

Other way around - batsmen need concentration, bowlers need consistency.

Re: Battrick thread, Part II
As anticipated, Norse AC held on for the win, bowling Kristianhaugen all out for 203 to win by 53 runs. As anticipated, the second-place team won easily. The result is that we still finish in third and had no real effect on the outcome of the series from our POV, other than prize money (it will also affect where the teams go, I'm sure).
The reporter's MOTM was Devon Liburd, who took four wickets bowling and put up 12 runs on 17 balls (not out) batting. I'll give him the bowling end, as the first of his wickets was a very big one, nipping the only opposing batsman to get any production going (but Jamie Newsome must also be mentioned with a 10-1-23-2 line). The honors need to be shared with Sulieman Seargeant, though, as Seargeant put up 105 runs for his first century to pace the offense.
The Valhallans close out the season on a seven-match win streak, with their previous loss to Kristianhaugen. Basically, we've beaten everyone in the series on our second time through.

really, thats odd. Every friendly i've played I would set it at Take it easy. I can show you the scorecards that say Take it Easy on them, but you wouldn't be able to see it unless you logged in as me!
