Question So, How Did Your Team Do This Season?

I thought we ought to get something going on this board. There hasn't been much action since the crash and I miss reading about your teams. My kids are grown so I'm not coaching right now but I hope to coach on the high school level within the next year or two.

EE Smith's JV team went o for whatever it was.

We improved dramatically. But in the alst hlf of the year we never got to play with a full team either playing with only 11 and no subs or short handed (we played 9 on 11 for one game).

I was proud of thier effort. Girls start around Feb 10.

Plymouth Sharks U8 finished 2-3-2.

It's rough getting raided each year for your best players. Thought that didn't happen until they were a tad older.

Thumbs up Good Season

My U13 girls had a very good fall season. Got promoted after the spring season, lost 3 girls to higher-level teams at tryouts, and still finished 6-4 after starting 0-3. They figured out that if they moved without the ball, they'd score goals, and if they covered for each other on D, they wouldn't give up many.

Really looking forward to the spring season.

The U-12 select team I'm an assistant coach for went 7-1-1 and finished third.

We just started our only indoor session last night in a tougher league (looks like I'll be the defacto head coach here) and the guys came back from 1-5 at the half to win 8-7 against a decent team.
