Default BS Battrick Cup

Ok, separate thread for the Big Soccer Battrick Cup.

The draw was made Friday night with KC Hammers, myself, Atlanta Fury, Cyclones, Dynamo KC, Banagher Knights all present. Kuhnscoot was the neutral force at work and he did the draw.

Groups are as follows:

Group 1
1. The Huns
2. Scouse Cricket
3. Martinique Serpents
4. Wicketkeepers
5. KC Hammers
6. DC United

Group 2
1. Atlanta Mosquitos
2. Los Burritos
3. theresonlyoneweknow
4. Cyclones
5. Dynamo KC
6. Kingston Hornets

Group 3
1. monkey spunk mopeds
2. Norse Athletic Club
3. Korn Fed
4. Essex BC
5. Fiddlers
6. KC Googlies

Group 4
1. Banagher Knights
2. Deathspawn
3. Lazers
4. Atlanta Fury
5. Tripods
6. winningconnection

Each team will play the other teams in their group once -- after the 5 matches have been played, the top two in each group will advance to a quarter final knockout stage.

Early money on KC Hammers, Banagher Knights would probably be second favourite right now.

After that it's a crap shoot.

I don't know about that... I've got a pretty strong team right now... last season I was very weak in the bowling department w/ only 2 decent bowlers... now I've got 5 quality bowlers so I should be more competitive. Last year my batsmen won most of my matches, but I've gained balance and I've got matchwinners on both sides of the ball.

KC Hammers (Cain) did tell me you were the toughest team he faced in the BS Battrick Cup last season, so you are now the joint second favourite!!

pfffft, johno's a walkover

i've got a better batting squad. my bowlers are pretty much the same, maybe a little worse because I sold a good one and bought an allrounder who is a better batsmen then bowler.
