Default PSG v Lille (threads merged) [R]

Okay doke, threads merged, Allez Paris and all that rubbish...

Basically if we play like we did on Sunday we will get mauled. Another defeat and this early season good form goes up in smoke and we are looking at mid-table medocrity even at this stage in the season...

I hope despite all our injury problems that we can come through this, but I very much doubt it.

My heart says 2-1 Paris, my head is thinking a 1-1 draw.

well rothen and kalou are out as well... only good news is the return of armand who i hope will bring some support to the defense... and hopefully alonzo can make a big save for us (which letizi usually does in a game which is BIG)...

i see psg winning 1-0... it will be tough, but we'll just get through...

I gotta go with Ganu, PSG will gut out a 1-1 draw. Last week was tough to watch, thought the Parisians had turned the sinking ship around, but alas St. Etienne squashed 'em good.

Same personnel issues as last match, sadly...

Le groupe du PSG

ALONZO Jérôme
ARMAND Sylvain
ATEBA Jean-Hugues
BADIANE Jean-Michel
CISSE Edouard
COUSIN Nicolas
DHORASOO Vikash
DJA DJEDJE Franck
DRAME Boukary
HADDAD Rudy
LANDRIN Christophe
MBAMI Modeste
MENDY Bernard
PANCRATE Fabrice
PAULETA Pedro
PICHOT Stéphane
ROZEHNAL David
SEMAK Sergeï
YEPES Mario

We've got to get more out of this group in any case; be prepared to play without our stars in any case; Fournier needs to figure out a way to get supreme focus from this group...that's really what management at that level is all about.

Personally, if M'Bami shows the same lackadaisical approach to ball management (why was Dhorasoo allowing Modeste to distribute, when he is better suited for that role?) and defensive midfield duties that he showed during the match agin' ASSE, he's coming out first, just to show the rest of the squad that I mean business. I personally think M'Bami thinks he's better than PSG anyway, and is just biding his time 'till the Jan window...if that's the case, then Fournier needs to get it into his head that NOONE will be looking at him on the form he displayed on Sunday...

My prediction? PSG 1-0 Lille, but only due to a penalty by Pauleta...

i think our attack is too weak and not enough to make any trouble to the opponent from the last game.

so maybe a draw; 0:0 or 1:1.
