Default Battrick new season

Hi. I'm a hattrick player (three seasons old now) & I signed up for battrick. We've been told that we'll get allocated teams for the new season but I'm unable to find out when that is going to happen. Can anyone tell me please...

I believe we'll be allocated teams 2 weeks into the season & they've said they will be enlarging the competition massively to cope with the demand

Thanks

Jute

Round 14 of the one-day league will be this Friday; if the offseason is anything like Hattrick's, leagues should be expanded (more than doubling in size, plus more bot slots to replace due to promotions) within about two weeks.

Currently, all but England and Australia are three divisions. Australia has four and England I guess has a few stray series in V (not sure how that came about).

They did it to decrease part of the waiting list during the crash I believe.

What country did you sign up for? To give you an idea, England has 1600 on the waiting list, while Sri Lanka (my country), has none.

thanks for the info guys. I signed up for New Zealand. There is a lot of growth in New Zealand for Hattrick & I guess now for Battrick.

I'm not sure about England, which already has a few V series, but everyone else is going to at least triple in size, the same as happens when Hattrick adds a division. (Er, when Hattrick adds a division VI or higher, as the lower divisions stay the same size as the next higher up...)

England and Australia are adding V.

Everyone else is going from 8 + 32 + 128 = 168 and adding 512 teams, to triple in size.

Throwing out the extras in England V, England and Australia are going from 680 to 2728, quadrupling in size.

Do we have to play a qualifier in the West Indies Division III?

I have clinched 5th place (can't get higher or lower) and want to know if I should "PIC" my last game in order to prepare for a qualifier, or... if I don't have to play one, if I can "MOTS" so that I get another win under my belt.

Oddly enough, my hattrick team finished 5th this season too. :/
