Sorry. I was sleeping, since the mass destruction is expected to hit here about 10 tonight. The typhoon is tracking right over top of us right now, though the mountains might throw it off still. The last one literally got to the mountains and circled back.

Damn, hope you fare well through the storm!

Man, New Orleans is totally screwed. I was watching the news this morning and I am not sure how they are going to fill in the breach of the levees. That much water moving at those rates is VERY powerful. I think they are going to have to hope the water levels drop some and then they'll have to sink barges or ships to stem the flow. It is going to be awhile. For example, if a slow moving flood can pick up a house and move it, imagine how little effect the 3000 lb sand bags had that they threw in the breach yesterday!

yeah, I'm really feeling sorry for the people who've been affected... I've been through some crap in my life, but nothing like that. I was very disgusted with parts of NBC's coverage of the incidents.
