Default PSG rely too heavily on Pauleta

Dont you think they rely too heavily on 32 year old Pauleta ? I think they are seriously flirting with danger there in that they havent a good reliable backup for him. Why cant PSG sign another decent forward like Alex Frei or at the very least they should have gotten Peguy Lyuindula on loan. If Pauleta goes down where will the goals come from and at 32 he's more likely to go down sooner.

it's always the problem. the hope, in the offseason, was to land a young star striker like Roque Santa Cruz (Bayern), but the team settled for Bueno (Paraguay). I feel Kalou could develop into a top striker, but I am not sure if he will ever be known for his finishing like Pauleta is. Here's hoping they can sort out the Paraguay mess and get them in.

Yep, it is scarey having the weight of PSG's scoring on either an aging Pauleta or a young man. Where is the 24-26 yo striker? Probably because most of the good strikers in their prime cost too much.

Kalou could be a good striker, but I think we need one more striker when Ljuboja is out.

bueno did very well in the reserve team match recently. fournier will likely work him into the bench (why splash out money and trouble for a player with only reserve team ability?) or perhaps a partnership with pauleta if he shows promise.
