PSG on my website
Hello PSG fans
I am working on a website devoted to the football clubs of the world - their names and what they mean, their histories, traditions, etc.
Here is the section for PSG - http://www.albionroad.com/clubs_details.aspx?id=98
If you have a chance to look, I would appreciate any feedback, corrections, additions or anything else.
Merci!

Re: PSG on my website
Well, the Saint Germain in "Paris Saint Germain" does not relate to the Paris Neighbourhood as you mention, but to the town "Saint Germain-en-Laye" where the team practices.
It is a lush town about 15 kilometres from Paris, on the West side, surrounded by a beautiful forest. The training ground "le camp des loges" is in the forest and is also home to a military base (a headquarter to be exact) that the club has tried to take over for years now. Rumour is that the team will relocate its training ground soon, over to the neighbouring Poissy town.
The town of St Germain-en-Laye also has an international school, where the player's kids can get a top notch education in over 12 languages.

Re: PSG on my website
Awesome. Thanks for the interesting and very helpful corrections, I will put them on the site ASAP.
On another note, are PSG really the only Paris team in the top 3 divisions? Are any of the other clubs from the Paris suburbs or something? Incredible that such an enormous city is so lightly represented.

Re: PSG on my website
RC Paris got demoted to the 4th division last year, due to dodgy finances. I think Paris FC are also languishing down near there as well. CFA2 I think....not too sure

Re: PSG on my website
There's The club of Creteil-Lusitanos which is now in Ligue 2, and is trying to get to the top flight. There's also the Red Star, which used to be a solid Ligue 2 club but I've lost track of where they're at.

Re: PSG on my website
Red Star are in the DH de Paris (Ile-de-France), I think.
There are some Ile-de-France clubs like Mantes and Sannois-St-Gratien.

I often forget how Neuilly is so resplendent.
It's like Chelsea and the Kings-Road / Kensington area.
Very posh.

Parisian football is a bit of a wreck, no?
