your post sounds like a mansfield fan but it says you are a forest fan!

I haven't been to Mansfield for years. Tell me, do you have a railway station there yet, as in one that's open and actually has trains stopping at it? (Alfreton Parkway, only 4 miles away my arse).

Secondly, do you still play "Mansfield Magic"(?) over the tannoy before the match?

Surprisingly I'm not from Mansfield (call me a glory supporter if you want, but theres not much point :-) ) but a place called Newark in Nottinghamshire but been living in Liverpool for the last 5 years.
No they don't still play Mansfield Magic, but instead play that bleedin Hey Baby. I know most people would actually like Mansfield Magic back! Its better than that cack of a tune!
Finally Mansfield have got a station for the first time in about 35 years. They do like to keep up with technology!

Everyone I knew in Newark supported Forest, Liverpool or Villa. Not one person supported Mansfield. We must be a very unfashionable club.

The only time I've been to the City Ground was in about 97 when I went with about 7 mates to see a Forest Reserves game against Liverpool in about 97 and Forest won 7-0 or something!
