playing against the east londoners on sundi.

I hope we lose and El Tel gets the sack. (I'd prefer a win and the sack, but i'm sure that wont happen)

I get the feeling Tel won't get anywhere near the sack unless Leeds go down...I think Ridsdale will give him the benefit of the doubt otherwise..maybe on your next Birthday though, Cap'n.

If the whites are going to get their shite together now is the time to do it...with the West Hams and Boltons and other such fixtues coming up.

I wont be getting a copy of the Westham game till about weds or thurs...so I'll be keeping out of sight of the score until then. It'll be worth the wait I hope. Hell, I might even fall off the wagon for this one...some Tetley's and a grainy recording of the match courtesy of my brother and Fox Sports World. As close to heaven as I can afford right now.

smith is suspended.

leedsunited.com reports that dacourt, matteo, fowler, s.johnson, and okon are all out.

maybe bridges will start up front, or he will start wilcox again and start kewell up front.

Still played horribly. A team with better finishers would have scored six goals against us in the second half.

And yes, Bakke still sucks. At least Harte made up for being responsible for 2 of the Hammers goals with some very nice corners (this week).

Finally got this one in the mail.
No suprises once the goals started flying in...except that W'ham didn't come back and win it...

I had visions of last season's first match with Newcastle dancing in me head...

Something needs to be done. That second half was as bad as you can get. No basic defensive effort whatsoever.
No balls were chased out at all...Hammers just kept scooping them up right before they went over the line and crossing them in. It's no wonder we blew a 3 goal lead against them.

Still, the three points have me buzzing just enough to sport the white jersey at USA vs. El Salvador tommorrow.
